Tari Tari was a pretty cute anime. It wasn’t a masterpiece or anything, but it was sweet.

It’s the last year of high school for five students, a year that they will remember forever. Konatsu Miyamoto quits the choir club and decides to make a new one to conquer her stage fright. Eventually she gets Sawa Okita, Taichi Tanaka, Wien Maeda, and Wakana Sekai to join her new club. Together the five of them learn to understand one another, becoming the best of friends, and even learn about themselves. All while they write and perform music for any audience willing to watch them.

I like that this was really centered around music, and the idea that music can bring people together, even if they disagree. I felt that the drama in the series wasn’t really that forced, although sometimes resolutions can be pretty cheesy. Wakana probably gets the most screen time, and I thought that was fair since she had the biggest hurdles to overcome.

I wasn’t feeling the art or designs for this for some reason. Actually, I liked the designs but sometimes they looked just silly. Especially on Konatsu. She’s suppose to be shorter than everyone else, but her head is the same size, so she always had this tiny body and huuuuge head. It was really distracting.

Tari Tari is a pretty basic slice of life anime. I really like that sort of thing, so I moderately enjoyed it. If you’re into that sort of thing as well, check it out!
