OH LOOK THIS ANIME AGAIN. Yeah alright. Despite Oda Nobuna no Yabou being a rehash, I actually really enjoyed it, and wouldn’t mind a second season at all.

Yoshiharu Sagara has been mysteriously transported to the past, but it isn’t the same past he’s been taught about. Instead, all of the feudal lords of this era are actually really cute girls. Due to some mishaps, Yoshiharu becomes friend and advisor to Nobuna Oda who is trying to unite Japan.

I think what I liked most most about Oda Nobuna no Yabou, is that the politics of this era really takes a front row to the plot, not the fact all the lords are cute girls. Its pretty political, and there are lots of battles and some war strategy too. There’s also a bit of romance too, which is also really nice. I suppose you could call the series a harem, since a lot of the characters want all up in Yoshiharu’s junk. But that’s something that also took a back seat, at least for me.

I love the character designs for the girls, they really are just way too cute. The cast isn’t just cute girls, there are plenty of creepy old man characters too. If you’re into that sort of thing.

Yeah, Oda Nobuna no Yabou seems like a rehash, and in a sense it is. But I think it does a good job to split itself apart from other types of anime with similar ideas. So if you like good luck female characters, some political intrigue, and even some romance, why not watch it?
