Oh man, all dat moeblob. I loved it. It was all just very cute and adorable and Tsumiki makes me all “D’AWW’ and shit. Also, cats. I would love a second season of Acchi Kocchi!

Acchi Kocchi follows a group of high school students Tsumiki, Io, Hime, Mayoi and Sakaki. We watch their everyday lives as they do silly things. We also get to watch Tsumiki and Io’s relationship and love grow.

It was all just so sweet and cute. Tsumiki and Io’s interactions made my heart melt most of the time. I JUST WANTED THEM TO AT LEAST KISS, DAMNIT. The show is a slice of life, so we just get to watch everyone go about their daily lives and make jokes about everything and be silly. It’s a bit of a comedy, so there is no deep storyline or a lot of strong development between the characters. It’s just… cute.

The art style has a very “moe” style to it. So if you’re not into that sort of thing, you probably won’t like Acchi Kocchi. Sometimes, I’m into it, and I was super into it this time. All of the characters were adorable, and the style was super squishable and huggable. I absolutely loved it.

I would tell you to watch Acchi Kocchi only if you like slice of life, a bit of cute romance, and if you can handle some moeblobs. If it’s a yes to all of those, then you need some Acchi Kocchi.
